The App collects photos containing facial information that you upload for AI face-swapping and beautification processing. This specifically includes:

• Facial Images: Selfie photos and portrait photos that you actively upload
• Facial Feature Data: Facial key points, contours, and other feature information extracted from photos
• Processing Results: Beautified or face-swapped photos generated through AI processing

1.2 Other Information Collection

• Account Information: Phone number (for registration and login), User ID
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, device identifiers
• Usage Data: App usage duration, feature usage patterns, operation logs
• Subscription Information: Subscription type, purchase records, expiration dates
• Network Information: IP address, network type (WiFi/mobile network)

2. Purpose of Using Facial Data

2.0 Reasons for Storage

We store facial data for the following reasons:

• Execute AI Processing: Temporarily store data to complete AI face fusion algorithms, applying your facial features to artistic templates
• Ensure Processing Integrity: Temporarily store during processing to ensure successful completion of image processing tasks
• User Work Preservation: Save your generated works for convenient viewing and downloading (only when you choose to save)
• Service Optimization: Use completely de-identified data to improve AI algorithms (cannot identify individuals)

2.1 Core Service Functions

• AI Face-Swapping: Using your uploaded facial photos for AI model training and face-swapping processing to generate artistic photos
• Beautification Effects: Applying beautification and enhancement processing to photos to improve photo quality
• Template Matching: Matching your facial features with preset templates to generate photos in various styles
• Effect Preview: Showing you before-and-after comparison effects

2.2 Service Optimization

• Algorithm Optimization: Using de-identified facial data to improve AI algorithms and enhance processing effectiveness and accuracy
• Quality Enhancement: Analyzing failed processing cases to optimize model performance
• Feature Development: Developing new AI features and template styles

2.3 User Experience

• History Records: Saving your work history for convenient viewing and downloading anytime
• Personalized Recommendations: Recommending suitable templates based on your usage preferences
• Technical Support: Providing technical assistance when you encounter issues

3. Facial Data Sharing and Third Parties

3.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your facial data with the following third-party service providers, but only to the extent necessary to provide services:

• Tencent Cloud COS (Object Storage):
  • Purpose: Storing your uploaded photos and generated works
  • Reason for Sharing: Provide cloud storage services to ensure data security and availability
  • Data Transfer: Using HTTPS encrypted transmission
  • Storage Location: Mainland China servers
  • Security Measures: Enterprise-level security protection provided by Tencent Cloud
  • Does Third Party Store: Yes, Tencent Cloud COS stores your uploaded photos and generated works
  • Third Party Storage Reason: As a cloud storage service provider, Tencent Cloud COS needs to store data to provide storage services
  • Third Party Storage Duration: Consistent with our storage duration (30 days after user deletion, permanently deleted 30 days after account cancellation)
  • Third Party Storage Duration Reason: Ensure data is accessible when users need it, while complying with data retention period requirements
• AI Processing Service (Tencent Cloud Image Generation / Face Fusion Service):
  • Purpose: Executing AI face-swapping and beautification algorithms to perform face fusion and image generation on the selfie photos you upload
  • Reason for Sharing: Using Tencent Cloud's image generation and face fusion capabilities to generate personalized artistic works for you
  • Processing Method: Processing in a secure cloud environment and retaining processing data only for the minimum time necessary to complete the current task
  • Data Usage: Only used for the current processing and will not be used for advertising, user profiling, or any purposes unrelated to the core functionality of this App
  • Does Third Party Store: No, the AI processing service deletes facial data from the processing pipeline as soon as the task is completed and does not store your facial information long-term

3.2 What We Will Never Do

3.3 Legal Disclosure Requirements

We may need to disclose your information in the following circumstances:

• Upon request from judicial authorities or government departments
• When necessary to protect our or users' legitimate rights and interests
• In response to emergency situations (such as threats to personal safety)

4. Facial Data Storage Location and Security

4.1 Storage Locations

• Server Location: Mainland China (Tencent Cloud servers)
• Local Storage: Downloaded works are saved in your device's local album
• Temporary Storage: Temporary data during processing is stored in the cloud

4.2 Security Measures

We implement the following security measures to protect your facial data:

• Encrypted Transmission: Using HTTPS/TLS protocols to encrypt all data transmissions
• Encrypted Storage: Encrypting stored photos and data
• Access Control: Strictly limiting employee access permissions, with access only for authorized personnel
• Security Audits: Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
• Backup Mechanism: Regular data backups to prevent data loss
• Protection Measures: Deploying firewalls, intrusion detection, and other security protection systems

5. Facial Data Retention Period

5.1 Retention Duration

• Uploaded Original Photos (Selfies):
  • Storage Service: Uploaded to Tencent Cloud COS service storage
  • Retention Policy: You can manually permanently delete at any time. Deletion entry: "Profile" -> "My Selfies" -> "Edit" -> "Delete". After deletion, cloud data will be immediately cleared and cannot be recovered.
  • Temporary Processing Photos: Deleted immediately after AI processing is complete (usually within 5 minutes).
  • Retention Reason: Selfie photos are retained for your convenience to reuse in different templates, avoiding repeated uploads; providing manual deletion ensures your control over your data.
• Generated Works (AI Face-Swapping Results):
  • Face-swapping results are typically retained for 7 days after generation so that you can view, download, and share them during this period; after 7 days, they will be automatically deleted from our servers or become inaccessible.
  • If you actively delete a work within 7 days, we will complete deletion from our servers within a reasonable time.
  • After account cancellation, we will complete the permanent deletion of all remaining works and related data within 30 days.
  • Retention Reason: The 7-day retention period is designed to give you sufficient time to browse and download your works while avoiding long-term or indefinite storage of face-related content, thereby better protecting your privacy.
• Facial Feature Data:
  • Processing Service: Uploaded to Tencent Cloud "Face Fusion" service for processing
  • Deletion Policy: Deleted within 24 hours after processing completion
  • Only used for current AI face-swapping function processing, not stored long-term
  • Retention Reason: Deleted within 24 hours to ensure processing completion while protecting your privacy as quickly as possible
• Data for Algorithm Optimization:
  • Retained after complete de-identification processing
  • Cannot identify individuals
  • Retention period not exceeding 2 years
  • Retention Reason: Retained for 2 years to continuously improve AI algorithm quality, but data is completely de-identified and cannot identify individuals

5.2 Deletion Mechanism

You can delete your data at any time through the following methods:

• Delete Selfies: In "Profile" -> "My Selfies" -> "Edit" -> Select Photo -> "Delete" (Permanently Delete)
• Delete Works: Delete individual works within the app or clear all works in the personal center
• Cancel Account: Select cancel account in settings (will permanently delete all related data)
• Contact Support: Email privacy@faceglow.app to request deletion

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your facial data and personal information:

6.1 Right of Access

• View all your data that we collect and store
• Understand the purpose and method of data usage

6.2 Right of Rectification

• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Update your account information

6.3 Right of Deletion

• Delete your uploaded photos and generated works
• Request deletion of all personal data
• Cancel your account and delete all information

6.4 Right to Withdraw Consent

• Withdraw your consent to data processing at any time
• Stop using specific features

6.5 Right to Data Portability

• Download all your works to local devices
• Export a copy of your personal data

6.6 Right to Complain

• File complaints with us about data processing issues
• File complaints with regulatory authorities

7. Protection of Minors

We take the privacy protection of minors very seriously:

• This App is intended for users aged 18 and above
• If you are a minor, please use it with the consent and guidance of your guardian
• We do not knowingly collect facial data from minors
• If we discover that we have collected data from minors, we will delete it immediately
• Guardians have the right to request deletion of all data belonging to minors

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use the following technologies to improve user experience:

• Local Storage: Saving your preference settings and login status
• Analytics Tools: Understanding app usage (anonymous data)
• Crash Reports: Collecting crash logs to improve app stability

These technologies are not used to collect facial data, only for app functionality and performance optimization.
